Greenvile, SC – National Computer Corporation (NCC) a leading developer and distributor of point of sale systems for the foodservice industry, is pleased to announce the release of a new integration between NCC Reflection Point of Sale and MenuDrive online ordering system for restaurants.
MenuDrive empowers restaurants to provide their own branded online and mobile food ordering systems. Their cutting-edge technology allows restaurant operators to seamlessly add e-commerce to their businesses, so that customers can order online for pickup and delivery, driving sales beyond the four walls of their stores.
According to the National Restaurant Association "research shows that consumers have a strong interest in restaurant online services. Forty-eight percent of adults have used the Internet to visit a restaurant’s Web site, and 18 percent have placed orders online. In addition, 22 percent say they would choose to receive cell-phone notices if their favorite restaurant offered it."
Based on these types of numbers it’s apparent that the internet is replacing the telephone for many customers that now order carry-out or delivery orders using the web. “The addition of MenuDrive’s online ordering system to Reflection significantly advances our capabilities and allows restaurant operators to embrace online and mobile ordering without sacrificing the reliability and functionality required to run their point of sale”, said Chuck Prince, VP of Sales at NCC.
Through NCC Reflection Back Office (PCWS), online orders placed through merchants branded website are automatically retrieved and presented to the Reflection Point of Sale. Reflection accepts orders pre-paid from the MenuDrive system, or as open orders to be collected at the point of sale when picked up.
